Finnished painting is something very much alive. The artist has shed  energy to it and towards it. It is an expression of a feeling and a moment bound to a thought of or a memory. Stroke after stroke and Layer after layer the painting grows as a living being. It is a part of history that always renews itself under the gaze of a viewer.  Physical law says that energy only transforms it cannot vannish. So thats propably why an completely abstract painting can cause strong emotions.

The language of a painting addresses our gaze to the direction of understanding. Colour, the marks left by brush strokes deepens the connection. As a person and as an artist I am aiming  towards understanding. Understanding the process off painting. Understanding the language, possibilities, techiniques, connection. What is connection? How we connect to one another? How we are connected to our surroundings?

Art is one thing that connects us. Its a need that can be fullfilled by watching or/and making. Others have the urge and the drive to create. While this urge is not fullfilled they cannot settle. WIthout art no one can settle. Making of art is chaos, but the finnished artwork brings serenity.

An exhibition connects the artworks as one. It is an installation rather than a showcase for  single pieces of art. The process begins by making a decision about the materials used in the painting. Materials are chosen by the motive of the painting. And thrives in the making of the painting and reaches it serenity as it is finnished. Exhibition brings the clarity.
